Yea, I'm still here. ^_^
Like I'd forget about this place anytime soon. THough it would PROBABLY be nice if I could get the gumption to DRAW something. Or post some of my older work. Of course, I get on a character kick and search for all the art I can find and start adding to my faves and....yea.

So, the latest "victim" of my fanart binges is Samus Aran, famous woman bounty hunter of Metroid fame. She's undergone some changes over the years, but I think they were all good changes. I admire her, as she was one of the first main female characters in a video game that I knew about (back in the golden days fo teh NES and the SNES. Gawd, I feel old -_-).

Anyway, what spurred the particular round of searching was the by now infamous "Haloid" video, byt the talented Monty Oum, who has some excellent work published on this site, by the way.

I won't spoil anything about the movie, but it was excellently done and worthy of the praise it's received so far. But yea, it brought Samus to the forefront of my mind. And it got some ideas cranking about this huge fic I keep planning to write. <sigh> Perhaps I should try and do some concept art for the main cast of that thing, even though I couldn't do them proper justice at present. The practice would do me good. Well, that's it for now, kiddies.
